Baby Cecilia

This little lady had some of the thickest and longest I've ever seen on a newborn.

Mommy came prepared with ideas and props for those ideas. The baby cow was all mommy's idea. :)

Please enjoy theses photos of Baby Cecilia

Baby Beau

13 day old  Beau was a joy to photograph

Our original appointment was set for when Beau was 9 days old but due to his poor siblings being sick we needed to postpone a few days. But even with the delay baby Beau was as sleepy as ever.

I couldn't have asked for a better subject than Beau. He slept almost the whole time, stayed in the positions I put him in and stayed dry outside his diaper which according to his mother was a big deal. :)

So I introduce to you Beau Dean!

This wall hanging was made by one of Beau's family members. It is entirely made up of shirts from men in his family. It's one of the coolest family items I've been able to incorporate into a newborn session.

Lovely Ladies

These three lovely ladies braved the bitter temperatures (even without coats) for their session. With windchills in the single digits we decided to make this session as quick as possible.

But despite the frigid temperature we were able to capture this families essence.

Brooke

Fun~Loving~Sweet~Caring~Giving.....These are just a few words that come to mind when I think of Brooke.

She braved the very chilly and windy yet sunny afternoon to hang out with me so that I could "try" to capture all the amazingness of her personality. I think a few of them definitely exemplify who Brooke is.

The Carr Family

This is the third opportunity I've had to spend time with this family and I'm so thankful for that.
We braved the bitter temperatures for most of this session and then moved inside to make baby N a little bit happier.

The Mauser Family

I had fun with the Mauser family on this overcast, windy Saturday afternoon.

I tried out a new location at the Marathon railroad station and then we moved to their family members beautiful farm. And it made for beautiful photos.

Arianna stepped up first and showed her little brother how it was done and she did it with ease!

Carter was slower to warm up but once we started looking for the moon we were good to go!

Thanks so much for an awesome day Mauser family!

Kristina.....or Tanner as I will forever call her.

I have known this lady almost as long as my nine year old daughter has lived.

She was introduced to me as Tanner, I later found out it wasn't in fact her first name. ~smile~

We became immediate friends.

We have been through many ups and downs with each other.

We have babysat each others children.

Have gone months without talking for no particular reason except for the fact we had very busy lives.

But no matter how long its been since we have talked we can pick up where we left off like it was just yesterday

We had a lot of fun on this headshots and more session. (Even with three kids in tow~wink~)

So with out further ado my gorgeous friend "Tanner"!

Baby Natalyn

As I write this post I shed happy tears.

This couple came to me a couple of months ago wanting a "Paper Pregnancy" photo session. It was one of my favorite sessions to date. I have always had a special place in my heart for adoption and feel so blessed to be able to be a part of Melanie, Greg and now Natalyn's story.

When I found out this couple had their baby girl I was beyond excited for them.
Baby Natalyn was such a doll!
She was the perfect sleepy baby, staying asleep in every position we put her in. Even with the diaper removed she never even wet. A first for this photographer. ~smiling~
I fell in love with this little girl's features....her sleepy smile, dark silky curls, long slender toes and beautiful baby lashes.
So without further ado I would like to introduce Natalyn Anaiah
